Worldly Dust.

"Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all." – John 13:10 (KJV)

In our walk through this world, we are constantly exposed to the dust of its distractions, temptations, and cares. While we have been cleansed by the saving blood of Jesus at salvation, our daily interactions with the world require continual spiritual renewal. Jesus’ words in John 13:10 remind us that although we are fundamentally clean, we still need our feet—symbolic of our daily walk—to be washed regularly.

The busyness and noise of life can cloud our spiritual senses, preventing us from hearing the Holy Spirit's voice echoing within us. Just as dust dulls the beauty of a material object, so too does spiritual "dust" obscure our ability to see God's truth clearly.

This is why daily prayer and repentance are essential. Through prayer, we come before God for cleansing and restoration, allowing the blood of Jesus to wash away the dust of worldly cares. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

Furthermore, we are reminded in Psalm 24:3-4, "Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart, who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully." A pure heart and clean hands are cultivated through constant communion with God, ensuring that the dust of vanity and deceit is washed away.

Daily prayer is not just a duty but a lifeline. It restores our spiritual focus and helps us maintain the clarity needed to hear the Holy Spirit. Like King David, we should cry out, "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10).

Let us embrace a life of constant prayer, recognizing that though we walk in this world, we are not of it (John 17:16). By staying spiritually clean, we remain sensitive to God's voice and equipped for His purpose.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. As I walk through this world, keep my heart pure and my spirit sensitive to Your voice. Wash me daily, and help me to maintain a constant prayer life so I can remain in Your presence and aligned with Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Work and Marriage: A Parable of Life

In my country, work is like marriage. Many say there is no work, yet in reality, there is more work than those willing to take it. The problem is not the absence of opportunities but the unwillingness to recognize and embrace them. Just as some people miss out on marriage because they hold on to an imagined picture of a perfect spouse, many remain in poverty because they continually pass over real work opportunities, waiting for the kind of work that fits the image in their mind. Scripture is clear: Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might  (Ecclesiastes 9:10). God does not call us to wait for ideal circumstances before we act; He calls us to engage diligently with what is at hand. Even in Eden, before the fall of man, the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it  (Genesis 2:15). Work is not a curse but a divine assignment. Yet many despise small beginnings. They forget the words of Jesus: He that is faithful in that ...

GROWTH-BLOCKING MINDSETS AND THE KINGDOM KEY TO BREAK FREE

A Kingdom Perspective for Two Dangerous Mindsets In today’s culture of ambition and hustle, two dangerous extremes have emerged: Those who say, “I’m not called into business. I’m just an employee.” Those who say, “I don’t want to serve anyone—I just want to own mine.” Both of these mindsets are not only flawed—they’re limiting. They reflect a misunderstanding of how God raises people into influence, impact, and provision. We’ll address both extremes and reveal a balanced, Kingdom-based truth: you are already in business, and you must serve before you can own. You're Already in Business—Even as an Employee When you work for a company, organization, or institution, you are already participating in the world of business. You may not own the structure, but you are working within it. You are contributing to its operations, its vision, and ultimately, its profit. Whether you handle customer service, clean the premises, manage accounts, or sit in a cor...

Earthly Inheritance vs. Heavenly Inheritance
